Senior laptop engineer opportunity·

All major brands are repaired including Sony Vaio, Toshiba, HP Compaq, Dell, IBM, FS, PBell, Advent, Samsung, Acer·

Typical faults are cracked screen, faint screen, overheating, liquid ingress, cutting out, wonât boot, lights but no activity, no power, power no post, broken power sockets, blue screen·

General fault isolation at board level is less complicated than identifying the real root cause of failures. These require application of knowledge, wisdom, and ability to track the failure to origin through logical detection by repeated analysis & elimination. Such isolation may uncover residue on a chip, chip failure, dry joint, hairline crack, burn mark, power rail failure·

40 Hrs/week Mon - Fri 9am-5.30pm

The role of the experienced engineer will be the same as the Senior Engineer except diagnosis and isolating the cause of faults is limited to main board level, and exchange of main components only·

Junior laptop engineer

All major brands are repaired including Sony Vaio, Toshiba, HP Compaq, Dell, IBM, FS, PBell, Advent, Samsung, Acer…

Typical faults are cracked screen, faint screen, overheating, liquid ingress, cutting out, won’t boot, lights but no activity, no power, power no post, broken power sockets, blue screen…

The role of the junior engineer will be the same as the Experienced Engineer except tasks at a lower level. Full training of alternative fault diagnosis techniques and isolating the cause of faults to main board level, and exchange of main components will be provided…

Candidates should be local and must have a strong knowledge and enthusiastic interest in computing.

40 Hrs/week Mon - Fri 9am-5.30pm

Administrator.

Laptop component data entry & sales support, some experience preferred, training provided.

The role of the administrator is to be closely linked to the smooth running of the organisation.

Candidates should be local, have a confident telephone manner, fast & accurate typing skills, strong organisational and admin abilty, and an enthusiastic interest in computing.
